The short answer

Pageree can deliver accepted form submissions to the page owner's email or another address you choose. Publish the form, submit a clearly marked test, and verify the inbox receipt. Emailing you is separate from sending a welcome email to the visitor.

Choose the inbox and the form’s job

The simplest useful destination for a business enquiry is often an inbox someone already monitors. Before building the form, decide who replies and which details they need. A consultant may need the prospect’s main problem. A cleaning business may need the property size and service area. A newsletter signup usually needs fewer fields.

Use the quote-request template for a service estimate or the consultation template for a first conversation. Avoid collecting information just because it makes the form look more substantial.

Owner notification and visitor email are different jobs. “Send new enquiries to me” does not create an automatic welcome sequence or deliver a download to the person who submitted the form. Plan those steps separately if the offer requires them.

Ask your assistant to configure the form

Connect Pageree using the setup guide, then identify the existing page or explain the new offer. Give the assistant an email destination you have chosen. Do not ask it to infer one from a screenshot or invent an address.

Add a working enquiry form to this Pageree landing page.

Goal: [what the visitor is requesting]
Fields I need to reply: [name, reply email, and the relevant qualifying question]
Destination: [the email address I have chosen]

Read Pageree's form, privacy, and delivery instructions. Use the required markup, validation, spam controls, and clear success/error messages. Show me the private preview. After I approve publication, explain how to test delivery on the public page.

Pageree supports email delivery to the account owner by default and can use another chosen address. Its form processing validates the submitted data against the form extracted at publication. The visible HTML and the published schema need to agree.

Write an honest confirmation

Good confirmation copy tells the visitor what actually happened and what to expect. “We received your enquiry and will reply by email” fits a contact form. “Your appointment is booked” does not fit unless a scheduling system has really confirmed an appointment.

Only state a response time the business can meet. If you do not know whether the team can answer within a day, leave that promise out. Give the visitor a useful next step without presenting a notification email as a service purchase or booking.

The error state should explain whether a field needs correction or the request could not be accepted. Do not erase a long message because one required field is empty if the implementation can preserve it safely.

Verify the published form

After approving the preview and publication:

  1. Open the public URL in a fresh browser session.
  2. Submit made-up details with an email address you control and a unique test label.
  3. Confirm that the page shows the intended accepted-submission state.
  4. Open the destination inbox and find the matching notification, including its field values.
  5. Check the reply address and whether the person responsible for follow-up can use the message.
  6. Test an invalid submission to confirm the form does not accept missing required information.

A preview may have different delivery constraints from the live page. The final check must happen on the published version. If nothing arrives, use the broken-form diagnostic to separate acceptance and delivery.

Know the recovery window

Accepted Pageree submissions have a 30-day recovery backup. This is a recovery window, not permanent CRM storage. If email delivery fails, inspect the available lead and delivery status in the console. Arrange exports or a durable destination if you need longer retention for your workflow.

When you switch to HTTP delivery, a failed HTTP attempt can fall back to owner email. A successful fallback is not a successful CRM import. Check the final destination when changing integrations.

Move beyond email when the workflow needs it

An inbox is useful when enquiry volume is manageable and ownership is clear. A spreadsheet or CRM becomes useful when several people need visibility, status tracking, or duplicate handling. The Google Sheets workflow is a practical next step; HubSpot offers a contact-oriented route.

Whichever destination you choose, decide who follows up. Reliable delivery creates the opportunity for a conversation. It does not replace the reply.
