The short answer

Start with a direct link to a Calendly event you own. Calendly handles availability and booking; Pageree hosts the page and call to action. Verify the complete scheduling journey in your account before calling a button click a confirmed appointment.

The simplest way to add Calendly to a landing page is a button pointing to the exact event link you already own. Visitors choose an available time in Calendly, which manages the scheduling step. Pageree hosts the page and its calls to action; it is not a native calendar booking system.

This guide describes a documented link-first workflow and an optional embed evaluation. No live Calendly account or booking was tested for this article. Verify the event settings and final booking in your own account before sending campaign traffic.

Prepare the event before the landing page

Create or select the appropriate event in Calendly. Check its duration, host, meeting location, available hours, time zone behavior, and the calendar used to prevent conflicts. If the offer is a paid consultation, verify the actual payment and scheduling configuration before describing it as payable or confirmed online. Calendly’s event setup instructions explain the event fields and sharing route.

Open the link as an invitee, not only as the signed-in host. Confirm the event name matches the offer. A visitor seeking a project consultation should not land on a generic menu containing unrelated events.

For a service business, place a short explanation before the button: who the conversation is for, what you will cover, and whether preparation is needed. The consultation template helps define that promise.

Add the button to the existing page

Update my Pageree page [page ID or URL] to use this Calendly event link: [exact URL].
First read the current page and stored HTML, and check for an open draft.
Use the primary button text "Choose a consultation time".
Explain the actual meeting duration, purpose, and preparation using my approved facts.
Link directly to the supplied event. Do not invent a Calendly username or event URL.
Keep an accessible contact option for visitors who cannot use the scheduler.
Do not claim a link click is a completed booking or create a fake confirmation screen.
Save a private preview on the same page ID and wait for publication approval.

If you still need to qualify enquiries manually, keep a consultant enquiry form instead of sending every visitor straight into your calendar. Those are different business choices. Collecting a form and then providing a scheduling link can be appropriate, but explain the two steps and avoid asking for the same information without a reason.

Calendly documents inline, pop-up text, and floating widget embeds. These are external scheduling interfaces, not Pageree form components. See the official embed overview.

If you prefer an embed, obtain the current code from your own Calendly event. Ask the assistant to inspect compatibility with Pageree’s current page and external-script rules before saving. Do not assume an iframe or script is supported simply because it worked in a local preview. Keep a direct scheduling link as a fallback, and verify mobile scrolling, keyboard focus, loading failures, and any consent-related behavior required for the external widget.

The embed should earn its space. A large scheduler before the visitor understands the offer can obscure the reason to book. Place enough context above it for a new visitor to know what the conversation will accomplish.

Verify one complete booking journey

After reviewing and publishing the page, make a controlled booking in a slot you own and can later cancel. Check these outcomes:

Step Evidence to inspect
Landing-page button Opens the intended event
Time selection Displays the appropriate time zone and availability
Submission Calendly reports a confirmed appointment
Host record The event appears in the expected account/calendar
Notifications Relevant parties receive the configured details
Reschedule or cancellation Uses Calendly’s actual management path

Do not send an accidental invitation to a real prospect during testing. Record which checks were completed and remove the test booking afterward.

Measure clicks and bookings separately

A tracked button click shows intent to open the scheduler. It does not show that the visitor selected a time, completed the form, or attended the meeting. Report the landing-page click goal and Calendly booking records separately unless you implement and verify a specific reconciliation workflow.

Use the analytics guide to keep the goal and denominator clear. If many people click but few book, inspect availability, event fit, questions, and time zones before assuming the landing-page headline caused the drop.
