The short answer

Separate HTML Pub's publishing plans from Leadpages' CRO tiers before comparing alternatives. Both assistant access and testing exist in the current product family. Evaluate Pageree by its focused draft, publication, and lead workflow rather than assuming exclusive AI support.

Compare the current Leadpages product

Leadpages alternatives need a current comparison because its offering includes both a publishing layer and a conversion-optimization layer. A founder who needs one page may be comparing a different product tier from a marketing team that runs experiments across campaigns.

Pageree publishes this guide. We reviewed official product and pricing documentation on September 15, 2026; we did not run a controlled hands-on or conversion benchmark across these services. The evaluation brief below is a method you can use in your own accounts.

Distinguish HTML Pub from CRO plans

Leadpages’ official pricing describes HTML Pub as the publishing layer and Leadpages as the broader offering with conversion tools. At review time, HTML Pub Starter was listed at $10 per month, while Leadpages Grow was $99 per month with manual A/B testing. Higher tiers add more campaign capabilities. Check the current plan matrix and billing cycle before purchase.

HTML Pub also documents an MCP connector for Claude and other assistants. Its connector guide describes creating, editing, and managing pages through the connection. Do not assume that switching to Pageree is the only way to operate a page from an AI assistant.

Use one realistic evaluation brief

Consider an illustrative founder offering demos of a small team-planning product. The page needs a clear promise, genuine product screenshots, an explanation of fit, and a demo request. It does not need an invented customer count or a fake calendar confirmation.

Evaluate this builder for a SaaS demo-request landing page.
Use the same approved headline, screenshots, product facts, and form fields in each tool.
The form should collect name, work email, team size, and the workflow to discuss.
Show how I can preview privately, publish, deliver the request to the chosen destination,
change the offer later, and inspect the relevant goal.
Separate documented capabilities from the checks actually completed in this account.
Do not claim a form submission books a demo unless the scheduling step confirms it.

The SaaS demo template provides a focused starting structure. Keeping the brief constant exposes workflow differences that a gallery of unrelated templates cannot show.

Compare the useful options

Option Good reason to consider it Check carefully
HTML Pub / Leadpages Publishing with a path to campaign testing Which plan includes the exact required feature
Pageree Landing-page operations inside an assistant conversation Supported client, page identity, form delivery, and recovery
Unbounce A campaign platform with testing and MCP access Experiment tier, traffic limits, and domain allowances
Framer Design control and a broader marketing website CMS, editing responsibilities, add-ons, and total cost
Carrd An inexpensive, compact visual page Required form type and manual editing workflow

Use Unbounce’s official plans, Framer’s site overview, and Carrd Pro to check those alternatives directly. A vendor’s comparison of another vendor is not a substitute for the latter’s current documentation.

Pageree versus Leadpages for the second edit

Pageree’s workflow centers on a complete HTML document: save a draft, show its private preview, and publish after review. The same page ID is used for later changes. Stored-source tools help the assistant read what exists before replacing the full draft, while versions record published changes.

That can suit a founder who wants to stay in a conversation for page updates and lead operations. It is not feature parity with Leadpages’ CRO tiers. Pageree does not provide native randomized A/B splitting, heatmap-based campaign automation, or a complete email marketing suite. Choose the platform whose ongoing responsibilities match the team you actually have.

Compare cost and migration work

Pageree Personal is $20 per month or $200 per year for five pages, with a 30-day trial; Pro supports thirty pages at $40 monthly or $400 annually. See current pricing. Include the assistant subscription and any automation service when comparing it with a builder that bundles more of that work.

Before moving an existing page, inventory its URL, active ad links, form fields, delivery mapping, and follow-up automation. Rebuilding the visible design does not migrate those dependencies. Test a new enquiry and an existing contact in the intended destination before redirecting traffic.

Try the Claude build guide if you want to evaluate Pageree. Keep the same brief, and record actual setup and maintenance friction rather than declaring a winner from the first generated screenshot.
