The short answer

A demo page should explain the job the software does, show credible product evidence, and collect enough context for a useful conversation. Make the form a demo request unless an external scheduler actually confirms the appointment.

This is an interactive layout example, not a live business. Use the prompt below to create your own page and connect real form delivery.

Match the demo to a specific buying question

A SaaS demo page works best when a visitor knows what they will see and why it matters. The fictional Tidy example focuses on a workflow demonstration. Replace its product details with features that exist in your product today.

Explain the task the demo covers, the audience it serves, and the next step. A live sales conversation, a recorded walkthrough, and a self-serve interactive demo are different offers. Name yours clearly near the main button.

Show evidence of the product

Use a real screenshot or a short recording with sensitive information removed. Annotate the part of the workflow that matters. If the product is still a concept, label the preview and use an early-access page rather than implying the product is available.

Build the page in this order: outcome, product preview, the demo agenda, suitable customer profile, credible evidence, and the request form. Include important limits such as supported platforms or the stage of the product when they affect whether someone should request a demo.

Qualify without turning the form into an interview

Field Reason to ask
Name and work email Follow-up and identification
Company Understand the context
Main workflow problem Tailor the demonstration
Team size Optional, only if it changes fit or routing

Collect detailed technical requirements later unless they determine whether you can help at all. Avoid automatically rejecting a personal email address if small businesses are part of your audience.

Copy this build prompt

Build a SaaS demo request page for [product].
Audience: [specific buyer and team].
Workflow: [problem and the product's actual solution].
Demo format: [live / recorded / self-serve].
Agenda: [three things a visitor will see].
Product evidence: [real screenshots and verified facts].
Limitations: [important fit constraints].

Include a specific hero, product preview, demo agenda, customer fit,
real evidence only, FAQ, and a form for name, email, company,
and the workflow the prospect wants to improve.
Use "Request a demo" for a request flow. Do not imply that a
calendar slot is reserved or that a trial has been created.

Connect the sales workflow

An inbox may be enough for your first demo requests. If you need a CRM record, configure a real delivery workflow and verify the field mapping. A successful form message does not by itself prove that the contact was created in the CRM.

Use the HubSpot integration guide if that is your destination. Define who owns a new request and how it becomes a conversation. Keep marketing subscription consent separate from the fact that someone asked for a product demo.

Measure qualified conversations

Track form submissions, but also review whether requests match your intended customer and whether people attend. Those later outcomes need your sales records; page analytics alone cannot tell you whether the demo produced a customer.

Before launch, submit a test request, confirm the full message arrives, and follow the scheduling process. Check that the published product claims, screenshots, and follow-up email agree. Use the analytics guide to interpret visits and submissions without confusing sessions with unique people.
