**The short answer.** Distinguish full planning, partial support, and coordination with concrete responsibilities. Ask about dates, location, guest count, and the help needed while allowing uncertain plans. A form submission does not hold a wedding date or collect a deposit.

## The template example

An interactive example of this page is at https://pageree.com/templates/wedding-planner-landing-page/#template-example. Its demo form runs in the browser and collects nothing. The business is fictional.

- Brand: Gather & Grace
- Eyebrow: WEDDING PLANNING / INITIAL CONVERSATIONS
- Headline: Bring the plans together, one decision at a time.
- Description: Tell us about the celebration, the plans already made, and the help you are looking for. Start with a conversation about scope.
- Benefits: Describe the celebration; Explain the planning help needed; Discuss the next conversation
- Form field: Date or season, location, and planning help needed
- Call to action: Discuss your celebration
- Note: Fictional planner. An enquiry does not hold a date, confirm availability, or collect a deposit.

## Say how much of the planning you take on

A wedding planner's page should explain the service boundary early. Full planning, partial planning, and coordination around the event are different offers. A visitor needs to understand which one you provide before deciding whether your style and process fit their plans.

The fictional Gather & Grace example focuses on an introductory planning enquiry. Its opening reads “Bring the plans together, one decision at a time.” The supporting copy asks about the event, the help needed, and the planning already completed. It does not claim availability, reserve a date, or promise a stress-free wedding.

Choose one main service for the page. If you show several packages, distinguish them with concrete responsibilities. Avoid using different package names for descriptions that all say “we handle everything.” The owner must supply the actual boundaries and terms.

## Use portfolio stories to explain your contribution

Select a few authorized images and explain what you contributed to each real event. Distinguish planning, coordination, styling, or another role. Credit collaborators when appropriate to the permission and attribution arrangements for the images.

If you are showing a styled shoot, label it as a styled shoot. If an image is a concept, call it a concept. Neither should be presented as a client wedding you planned. When you have no published portfolio, a clear process and a sample planning document can show how you work without inventing past events.

For Gather & Grace, a useful sample would be a decision checklist that separates venue, guest list, suppliers, and next conversations. The sample explains an approach; it is not evidence of an actual event or a professional recommendation for the reader's wedding.

## Ask for ranges when plans are still developing

| Field | How it helps establish fit |
| --- | --- |
| Contact name and email | Creates a reply route without assuming a couple's structure |
| Event date or approximate season | Starts an availability conversation |
| Venue or intended area | Provides location context; allow “not chosen” |
| Approximate guest count | Describes the scale of the event |
| Planning help needed | Distinguishes full planning, partial support, or another actual service |
| Approximate event budget | Optional range for fit, clearly labelled as total event budget |

Do not confuse the total wedding budget with the planner's fee. Explain what the field means and allow uncertainty if the visitor has not made that decision. The Knot's [Budget Advisor help](https://helpcenter.theknot.com/hc/en-us/articles/40043041651092-How-do-I-use-the-Budget-Advisor) treats budget planning as a breakdown of services. That is useful context for clear field labels, not a universal price benchmark for your business.

A fictional enquiry might read “Autumn next year; venue not chosen; roughly 60–80 guests; help with full planning.” The purpose is to begin a suitable conversation, not to force a complete event specification from a first-time visitor.

## Explain when a date becomes confirmed

Describe the actual steps after an enquiry: checking scope and availability, an introductory conversation, and whatever proposal or agreement process your business uses. Use the owner's exact process when describing fees or reservations.

The form's success message should confirm receipt or submission only as the implemented flow supports it. It must not say that a wedding date is held. Pageree does not supply native booking or payment processing for this template.

## Test the enquiries you expect to receive

Submit a test with an unknown venue and approximate date. Confirm that these are accepted and delivered without silently changing their meaning. Check that budget labels remain clear on a phone and that the success message matches the owner's follow-up process.
