**The short answer.** Explain what is launching, who it helps, and what someone can do today. Match the primary action to actual availability: purchase through an existing checkout, request a demo, or join launch updates. Avoid unsupported stock counts and deadlines.

## The template example

An interactive example of this page is at https://pageree.com/templates/product-launch-landing-page/#template-example. Its demo form runs in the browser and collects nothing. The business is fictional.

- Brand: Desk Set
- Eyebrow: PRODUCT LAUNCH / INTEREST REQUEST
- Headline: Give next week's work a place to land.
- Description: An illustrated planning-kit concept for small studios. See what the kit is intended to include and ask to hear when it becomes available.
- Benefits: A weekly planning surface; Space for client priorities; A simple handoff checklist
- Form field: What would you use the kit to plan?
- Call to action: Request launch details
- Note: Fictional product. This preview has no inventory, checkout, or promised launch date.

## Make availability as clear as the product

A product launch landing page answers three practical questions: what is launching, who should care, and what someone can do today. A launch date, purchase button, waitlist, and demo request each imply a different state of the business. Choose one primary action that matches the state you can support.

The fictional Desk Set preview introduces an illustrated planning kit for small studios. It is a design example, with no inventory, checkout, or fulfilled orders behind it. Adapt the structure to your own product and replace every specification, image, and availability statement with verified information.

## Start with the first customer's decision

Write a sentence such as “A reusable weekly planning kit for studio owners who coordinate client work.” This identifies a product, a buyer, and a job. Follow it with a concrete explanation of what is included. That gives visitors something to evaluate beyond the excitement of a launch.

For a physical product, show the actual item, dimensions, included parts, and relevant delivery information. For a digital product, show representative contents, supported formats, access requirements, and how delivery works. For a service launch, describe the engagement and its boundaries. Avoid borrowing testimonials from a different product without explaining the connection.

| Product state | Suitable action | Success means |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Available through an existing shop | View the product or buy through that shop | Checkout completes in the shop |
| Prototype with no confirmed release | Join launch updates | An interest record is received |
| Limited release requiring qualification | Request access | The team receives a request |
| Demonstration-led product | Request a demo | A follow-up conversation is requested |

## Keep checkout and fulfilment explicit

Pageree can present the offer and capture enquiries. It is not a native shopping cart, inventory manager, or payment processor. Link a purchase action to an established checkout, and explain the destination when useful. For example, Stripe documents how [Payment Links](https://docs.stripe.com/payment-links) can host a purchase flow for a product or subscription. That is an external checkout you configure, not a payment feature created by the landing-page prompt.

Before using a payment link, verify its item, currency, quantity choices, applicable shipping details, and post-payment instructions in the provider's test process. A thank-you message on an unrelated enquiry form must not claim that an order has been paid or reserved.

## Copy this build prompt

```text
Build a product launch landing page for [product].
Buyer: [specific audience]. Job: [problem it solves].
Included: [real items, deliverables, or capabilities].
Availability: [verified status and dates].
Price and delivery: [real terms or clearly unresolved].
Proof and images: [authorized assets and supported statements].
Primary action: [existing checkout URL / launch update request].
Use a product-led hero, a clear contents section, useful images,
availability and delivery details, FAQ, and one primary action.
Do not invent stock counts, countdowns, reviews, or a launch date.
If using external checkout, preserve its exact approved URL.
If collecting interest, ask for email and explain what follows;
do not imply payment, stock reservation, or automatic welcome mail.
Create a private Pageree draft with accessible mobile layout,
configure enquiry delivery if needed, and show me the preview.
Wait for review before publishing.
```

## Plan what the page says after launch day

An announcement can quickly become stale. Decide who will update the page when the product becomes available, when a launch offer ends, or when a release is delayed. Put a real end date on a time-limited offer only if the business will honor it. A countdown that restarts for each visitor does not establish genuine scarcity.

Use the [launch checklist](https://pageree.com/tools/landing-page-launch-checklist/) before sharing the URL. If the offer is still uncertain, run a clearer test with the [business-idea validation guide](https://pageree.com/guides/validate-business-idea-landing-page/). If the product needs a sales conversation, adapt the [SaaS demo template](https://pageree.com/templates/saas-demo-landing-page/) to your qualification process. Measure the action you actually support rather than counting every launch-page visit as demand.
