**The short answer.** Show the plumbing services, area, and contact hours the business actually supports. Provide a clear calling route and a useful planned-work enquiry form. Phone-link clicks do not establish that a call connected or that a job was booked.

## The template example

An interactive example of this page is at https://pageree.com/templates/plumber-landing-page/#template-example. Its demo form runs in the browser and collects nothing. The business is fictional.

- Brand: Flowline
- Eyebrow: PLANNED PLUMBING / PROJECT ENQUIRIES
- Headline: Tell us the plumbing work you have in mind.
- Description: Share the job, location, and preferred timing so the first reply can focus on your planned work.
- Benefits: Describe the intended work; Check the service area; Discuss a practical next step
- Form field: Work type, location, and preferred timing
- Call to action: Send a planned-work enquiry
- Note: Fictional business. This example does not offer emergency attendance or reserve a visit.

## Make the contact route match your actual service

A plumbing page often has two very different visitors: someone who wants to call about a current issue, and someone planning work who can describe it in a form. The page can support both, but the contact language must match the business's real availability.

The fictional Flowline example focuses on planned plumbing enquiries. Its opening reads “Tell us the plumbing work you have in mind.” The preview does not offer emergency attendance or claim that a team is available now. For a real business that answers calls, a visible telephone link can sit alongside the project form.

Write the service area and contact hours near that link. Only use “24/7,” “same day,” or a guaranteed response time if the business can support the claim. An assistant should not infer emergency coverage from the word plumber.

## Make the phone action understandable

A telephone link uses the `tel:` URL scheme. Depending on the device, the browser may offer a calling application rather than place a call directly. That behavior is described in [MDN's anchor element documentation](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/a).

Use the real business number in international format in the link, with a readable label such as “Call Flowline.” Display the number as text as well. Test it on the devices customers use and confirm it reaches the correct business line. Do not publish the fictional example name with somebody else's number.

If page analytics record a phone-link click, describe it as a click. That does not prove that a call connected, that someone answered, or that a job was agreed. Any completed-call attribution needs a separate verified system.

## Keep planned-work enquiries short

| Field | What you need to learn |
| --- | --- |
| Name | Who is making the enquiry |
| Email or a required contact route | How you should reply |
| Phone | Optional unless calls are your actual follow-up method |
| Town or postcode | Whether the job is in the service area |
| Work type and short description | What the visitor wants you to consider |
| Preferred timing | When they would like to discuss the work |

Do not turn this page into an automated diagnosis. Ask what work the visitor wants to discuss, not for them to assess the cause of a fault or perform checks on equipment. Keep instructions about the professional work itself out of the generated marketing copy.

For Flowline, the categories could be supplied by the owner as fixture replacement, renovation work, or other planned work. These are illustrative choices, not claims about a real contractor's services.

## Explain the offer before listing every service

Group the services you actually provide, add clear exclusions where they prevent confusion, and describe the estimate process. A useful FAQ might explain how an initial conversation works, whether there is an assessment charge, and which locations are covered. Supply the answers yourself.

If you publish qualifications, insurance descriptions, or trade memberships, use the exact current details you are entitled to state. Do not let an assistant draw accreditation badges simply because a competing site displays them.

## Copy this plumbing page prompt

```text
Build a plumbing landing page for [business].
Offer: [specific services we actually provide].
Service area: [locations]. Contact hours: [real hours].
Phone: [business number]. Emergency service: [true scope, or none].
Verified credentials: [supplied facts]. Estimate process: [details].
Create a readable mobile hero, service scope, service area, truthful
contact expectations, relevant evidence, and a planned-work form.
Use an accessible tel link for the supplied number, plus visible text.
Ask for name, reply contact, location, work type, and preferred timing.
The form requests a reply; it does not reserve an appointment.
Do not give repair instructions, diagnose faults, or invent response
times, emergency coverage, qualifications, reviews, or prices.
Prepare a private Pageree draft and configure enquiry delivery to
[approved destination]. Show the mobile call link and form for review.
Do not label a phone-link click as a completed call.
Publish only after I approve the page.
```

## Verify both paths independently

Test the phone link and the published form separately. Confirm that the form notification contains the location and description, not just a name. Check any stated response expectation against your actual follow-up process before making it public.
