> Build a focused freelancer page around one deliverable. Show relevant work, explain your scope, and ask the questions needed for a useful project enquiry.

**The short answer.** Explain the work you want to attract, show relevant samples with your actual role, and make the scope and next step clear. Keep concept work labelled and availability current. An enquiry does not reserve your time or collect payment.

## The template example

An interactive example of this page is at https://pageree.com/templates/freelancer-landing-page/#template-example. Its demo form runs in the browser and collects nothing. The business is fictional.

- Brand: Margin Studio
- Eyebrow: FREELANCER / COPY PROJECT CONCEPT
- Headline: Give new subscribers a clearer first hello.
- Description: A freelance copywriting concept for an introductory welcome sequence, shaped around your audience, offer, and actual next step.
- Benefits: A defined writing deliverable; A relevant sample to inspect; A brief before work begins
- Form field: Audience, desired deliverable, and timing
- Call to action: Ask about a copy project
- Note: Fictional freelancer. Replace samples, scope, availability, and terms with your own verified information.

## Give one type of client a clear reason to enquire

A freelancer landing page can focus on a deliverable even when your broader portfolio covers many skills. Choose the work you want the page to attract, then show the scope, relevant samples, and the next step. A visitor should not have to inspect a dozen unrelated projects to discover whether you take on their kind of job.

The fictional Margin Studio preview presents an independent copywriter's project-enquiry concept. It is a local demonstration, not a real freelancer, availability calendar, or claim of commissioned work. Adapt the page to your own service and replace the sample material with work you have permission to share.

## Lead with the deliverable and its context

“Copywriting for your business” is broad. “A first-draft welcome sequence for a newly launched service newsletter” describes a more concrete engagement. Explain the audience, the job the deliverable serves, and what you need from the client. If strategy or implementation is outside the offer, state that clearly.

Keep the promise within your responsibility. You can commit to delivering agreed copy or design work; you cannot automatically guarantee a client's revenue, readership, or conversion rate. Describe the work's intended use without presenting an aspiration as a measured result.

| Page section | Useful content |
| --- | --- |
| Hero | Deliverable, buyer, and a clear enquiry action |
| Work sample | Relevant excerpt with your role and project context |
| Scope | Included outputs, exclusions, and revision boundaries |
| Working process | Brief, draft, feedback, and final handoff |
| Availability | Current information or an invitation to ask |
| Fit questions | What the client needs, when, and for whom |

## Give work samples enough explanation

A screenshot alone may hide your contribution. Add a caption explaining whether you wrote the copy, designed the interface, built the page, or worked within a larger team. Do not imply sole ownership of a collaborative project. If a sample is self-initiated, label it as concept or sample work.

Use excerpts that demonstrate the service being sold. For the fictional welcome-sequence offer, a short opening email plus notes on its purpose would be more relevant than unrelated social-media graphics. Link to a broader portfolio as a secondary route if it helps the buyer verify your work, while keeping the main enquiry easy to find.

## Keep project questions proportionate

Ask for the client's name, email, the deliverable they need, intended audience, and desired timing. Add a budget range only if it changes your response. A free-text brief can be enough for a first message; save extensive discovery questions for a project that looks suitable.

Use clear labels and mark optional fields. [W3C's labels and instructions guidance](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/labels-or-instructions.html) explains how those details help people provide the expected information. Do not require a company website when your clients may be founders who have not launched one yet.

## Copy this build prompt

```text
Create a freelancer enquiry page for [name / studio].
Service: [one deliverable-led offer].
Client: [specific buyer and stage].
Scope: [outputs, exclusions, and revision policy].
Process and inputs: [how the work begins and ends].
Proof: [authorized samples with my actual role].
Pricing and availability: [verified facts or enquiry-first wording].
Use a concise offer hero, relevant samples, scope, process,
fit section, FAQ, and a project enquiry form. Ask for name,
email, desired deliverable, audience, timing, and an optional
budget range if useful. Label concept work honestly.
Do not invent clients, testimonials, results, or open slots.
Say the enquiry does not reserve time or take payment.
Create a responsive private Pageree draft, configure owner
email delivery, and show the preview before publication.
Keep payment and any scheduling links external and verified.
```

## Check that the page supports your actual working process

Read the offer against a project you would accept today. Can you deliver the stated scope, handle the promised feedback round, and reply through the advertised channel? If availability changes often, use “Ask about project timing” rather than leaving a dated opening on the page indefinitely.

After publishing, test the form on a phone and confirm that the project details arrive intact. A visible success message is not proof of inbox delivery. Use the [email guide](https://pageree.com/guides/landing-page-form-to-email/) for that check. The [productized service template](https://pageree.com/templates/productized-service-landing-page/) helps when the engagement has a fixed scope, while the [quote-request template](https://pageree.com/templates/request-a-quote-landing-page/) fits projects whose price depends on the brief.
