**The short answer.** Help a prospective client understand your coaching approach before asking for a conversation. State the actual format, boundaries, and next step. A discovery-call request needs a reply or a separate scheduling system before a meeting is confirmed.

## The template example

An interactive example of this page is at https://pageree.com/templates/coaching-landing-page/#template-example. Its demo form runs in the browser and collects nothing. The business is fictional.

- Brand: Clear Path
- Eyebrow: CAREER COACHING / DISCOVERY ENQUIRY
- Headline: Talk through your next career decision.
- Description: Explore the question in front of you, learn how the coaching format works, and decide whether a further conversation makes sense.
- Benefits: Bring one decision to discuss; Understand the coaching format; Explore whether there is a fit
- Form field: What decision would you like to explore?
- Call to action: Request a discovery conversation
- Note: Fictional coach. No career outcome promised; a meeting requires separate confirmation.

## Explain the coaching relationship before asking for a call

A coaching landing page should help someone decide whether the coach's approach fits what they want to work on. Start with the audience, the area of focus, and the format. A visitor should not have to infer those details from an inspirational headline or a portrait.

The fictional Clear Path example offers a discovery conversation for professionals considering a career change. The page explains what the first conversation covers: the decision the visitor faces, the coaching format, and whether there is a fit. It does not promise a new job, higher income, or a guaranteed personal transformation.

Use your actual scope to shape the language. The International Coaching Federation's [scope-of-work resource](https://www.coachingfederation.org.uk/storage/app/public/resource_library/5d023515b36c3447280774.pdf) discusses explaining coaching boundaries in the agreement. Here, that translates into a practical editorial decision: describe what your service includes, and do not let generated copy turn it into a different professional service.

## Replace broad encouragement with concrete session details

For Clear Path, “Find your true purpose” leaves the visitor guessing. “Talk through your next career decision” names a situation without promising an outcome. The supporting sentence could explain that the introductory conversation explores the visitor's question and the coach's way of working.

Follow with the format: individual or group, online or in person, session duration, and engagement structure where known. If the discovery call is free, say so only when that is your real offer. If an initial session is paid, make that clear before asking someone to request it.

A short suitability section can be useful. Describe who usually benefits from discussing this subject with you and what you do not offer. Keep this about selecting your service rather than diagnosing the visitor or providing professional health advice.

## Collect enough to start a conversation

| Field | How it helps the first reply |
| --- | --- |
| Name | Provides a personal point of contact |
| Email | Gives you a way to arrange the next step |
| What decision would you like to explore? | Helps identify the purpose of the conversation |
| Preferred format or time zone | Helps with practical fit when relevant |

Avoid turning the first enquiry into a sensitive intake questionnaire. A short description of the desired focus is usually more appropriate for this page than extensive personal history. Move any later intake into the process you actually use.

Explain what happens after submission. “We will reply to discuss a suitable time” describes a request. “Your session is booked” requires a confirmed scheduling transaction. Pageree's enquiry form does not reserve a calendar slot.

## Let genuine evidence carry the trust section

List qualifications exactly as supplied, including the awarding organization when relevant. If you have permission to publish a testimonial, preserve what the client actually said and the agreed attribution. Do not ask an assistant to make up a representative testimonial to fill a design block.

Without testimonials, explain your process and show a sample reflection worksheet that you own. Label it as a sample. Useful detail gives a prospective client something to assess even when the practice is new.

## Verify the request and scheduling journey

Test the published form with a short enquiry and confirm the focus arrives with the email address. Check that the success message repeats the actual next step. If you use a separate scheduler, follow the [Calendly connection guide](https://pageree.com/integrations/calendly/) and verify the booking in that service.

Use the [consultation template](https://pageree.com/templates/consultation-landing-page/) for a more general first conversation. The [form-to-email guide](https://pageree.com/guides/landing-page-form-to-email/) covers owner notifications; those notifications do not automatically send a visitor a calendar invitation.
